Successes, failures, and criticals
Count matches and highlight critical faces.
Success target
A compare point after a die counts 1 for each matching face and 0 for the rest. 5d10>=8 counts d10 results of 8 or higher; total becomes that count. A second condition prefixed by f counts −1 per failure. If success and failure both match, success takes priority.

result.pool is null without a target. With one, it exposes successes, failures, and netSuccesses. Structural pool(±N) changes the dice count and does not create this summary.
Comparisons
The operators are =, !=/<>, <, <=, >, and >=, followed by a numeric threshold that may be negative. Immediately after a die, ! starts an explosion; use <> for an unambiguous “not equal” target. Compare points also work in explosions and rerolls.
Critical marks
cs marks critical success on the maximum face; cf marks critical failure on the minimum face. An optional compare point changes the trigger. These marks appear in states and classify events but do not change the total by themselves.
